From September 16–17, 2025, representatives of quantum communication projects from more than 17 European countries will gather to participate in the international forum QCI Connect 2025. The two-day conference will bring top specialists to Estonia to discuss the current state of quantum communication and future plans within the framework of the European Commission’s initiative EuroQCI.
The forum is organized by the Estonian quantum communication project EstQCI in cooperation with the Ministry of Justice and Digital Affairs, the Ministry of Defence, Metrosert, and the State Communication Foundation. The event provides a unique opportunity to share practical experiences, discuss results achieved so far, and find common solutions to the challenges of developing the quantum communication network. The forum will also set goals for the European Union’s next steps in creating a secure and connected quantum communication infrastructure.
“QCI Connect 2025 is not only a place for exchanging knowledge, but also a platform to strengthen cooperation and connections with colleagues, partners, and stakeholders who share the vision of a Europe with quantum capabilities,” the organizers emphasize.
The conference will take participants away from the city center of Tallinn to the seaside LaSpa hotel, where discussions can take place in a peaceful and inspiring environment.
